Frequently asked questions

How does Text to Image work?

You type text, choose a background color and font size, and the tool renders it as a PNG image you can download. Works entirely on the server using GD.

How does Image to Text work?

You upload an image containing printed text (not handwriting). The image is sent to an OCR service that returns the extracted text. Requires an OCR API key to be configured.

Why does Image to Text show an error?

OCR requires either Tesseract (a system binary not available on shared hosting) or an external API key. If the key is not configured, the tool says so clearly rather than failing silently.

Are my files kept on the server?

No. Uploaded images and generated files are deleted immediately after download.
